Course Details
The Beginner Driver Education Course is 40 hours and consists of 20 hours of in-class theory (currently being offered online), 10 hours of homework, and 10 driving hours behind the wheel with a certified driving instructor. BDE course will provide you with the knowledge and skills that are required for you to safely operate a vehicle using defensive driving techniques. During your BDE course, you will evaluate your attitudes that affect the way you drive. Through e-learning activities, assignments, interactive quizzes, and videos that reinforce theoretical knowledge, you will learn how to avoid collisions and reduce incidents by applying prevention strategies on the road. SGS’s Ministry Approved BDE packages are suitable to everyones needs. As a bonus, a variety of our packages offer the use of an instructor vehicle to complete local road tests. After BDE course completion, you will receive a certificate (Driver Licence History Record) from the Ministry of Transportation, which you can order online or pick up at any Service Ontario.
